Woody and his crew with Carolina Professional Landscapes does great work. Woody is very knowledgeable about plants and different sod as well as drainage issues and repairing them. I recommend them as a great local small business.

Woody and his crew truly made a dream come true. They transformed our backyard into a beautiful wonderland featuring two level patio, fireplace, stone path through out backyard and completely new landscaping. Now going into my backyard is like a mini escape. In addition, he planted thirty trees in our front yard and completed our front flowerbed edging. We couldn’t rave more about the work that was done. Not only did Woody have excellent communication skills, but his crew were some of the nicest gentlemen. Thank you again for our little backyard escape!

Woody and his team performed a major overhaul of our yard in early March, including installation of sod and new shrubs and decorative plants. I followed his watering recommendations and everything seems to be coming along fine. I am happy with the quality of the work that was done and the professionalism displayed. We appreciated Woody’s recommendations and suggestions for updating our look.

Woody and his staff did an amazing job landscaping our front yard. From the brick pavers leading to the front door, arrangement of ornamentals in the flower bed, to the removal of old plantings they did an exceptional job and professional every step of the way. Woody did a very good job providing advice and incorporating our desired plants into his plan for three large plant beds in the front and side of our house. We are quite happy with his plan so far and are excited to see how it will look in the coming months. He was very responsive and patient answering all our questions and discussing our concerns such as deer resistant plants and multi-season color.

We used Woody and his Landscape Team to remedy some drainage issues we had at home such as installing a catch basin and piping the down spouts underground for better run-off from the foundation. They did an Outstanding job and demonstrated terrific attention to detail. They made sure everything was done in a way to ensure no pipes were visible and did a great job cleaning up after they completed. Highly professional, knowledgeable landscaper with a great eye for aesthetics. We contacted them to renovate our front bed with ornamental shrubs and new tree, add evergreen screening to our backyard, add a new bed around the patio filled with ornamental shrubs and evergreens for screening, plus add some trees in the side yard. They did a phenomenal job! Woody, the owner, was exceptional at listening to what we wanted and patiently working with our ideas along with giving us different possibilities. Coming from NJ we needed crucial help on plants and trees that would do well in NC zone. The installation team was punctual, efficient, courteous, and expert at their jobs. We could not be happier with the end result. They transformed our surrounding house landscape into a beautiful, tranquil, and manageable environment. We just love it and looking out the window! They went beyond our expectations and we are so happy that we utilized their service. We will definitely use them again if needed.

We had our yard replaced with sod by Woody and his team. The process went smooth from the first phone call to after the project was compete. His team was professional, extremely efficient and great at what they do. Woody provided great insight and suggestions pre and post project and was very responsive. I had a few minor issues after the project was complete and he and his team were there the next day to address them. Absolutely would recommend to others and use myself in the future.

Amazing work and level of professionalism every step of the way. We had completed bids with various potential contractors for a sizable amount of hardscaping and additional work for a new property that we just moved into. Our yard was a terrible mess with an unsafe walkway with tons of roots and stumps in various places with old rotting railway ties used to create borders and barriers to control water. Needless to say it all needed to be removed and redone with all new landscaping and stonework to extend decking around a pool with cobble pavers, put in a cobble paver patio, two walkways, and wide stone stairs all wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair to get to our pool. Right off the bat I really liked Woody. We hit it off well and while they were initially a bit higher than some of the others who bid on it they contacted me to work out a schedule of work that would fit within my budget. There were some minor delays getting our job started but once things began the team was on site every day during the entire time working hard.
The final product is just simply amazing. Highly recommend these guys for all of your landscaping and/or hardscaping needs. I will try to update with some before and after pictures if I can.

Amazing work creating a deck for slope yard!
We contracted with Woody to create a patio on our sloped backyard. We were not getting a lot of use out of our yard because of the slope and was looking for a way to add a permanent entertainment structure that would level things a bit. Woody came out, brainstormed with us, and was able to create a beautiful patio deck for us. His workers came out every day and they did a great job of cleaning up behind themselves. Along the way there were many challenges concerning drainage issues for the deck given the slope of the yard but Woody was very responsive and adapted to the situation. He went out of his way to make sure we got we want. I would highly recommend his services. He’s extremely professional and does great work.

I called Woody after two appts with a key competitor who came out and measured our lawn and spray painted a template for a patio. However, I never received a email as promised or a call back. I saw Woody’s work at a neighbor’s home and was impressed with the finished product. I called Woody to simply get his thoughts, because I knew we probably could not afford to work with him and his crew. I shared our financial situation and he was willing to work with us in any way we needed. He offered to do the job in different phases, if that helped. He gave me a total and then gave me a breakdown of the total so we could decide what we wanted and understand the financial impact of adding or subtracting various options.
Our job was completed today and it looks wonderful. Woody was very flexible with the changes I wanted and the materials I wanted to use. He shared with me the materials he usually used on jobs like ours, but he was very open and receptive to the changes I wanted. He was quick to respond to my text messages 7 days a week, early in the morning and into the evenings. There was always open and ongoing communications to ensure I was happy and things were progressing along with my expectations.
Before Woody and his team left today we discussed a possible job this fall, so needless to say… I plan to work with Carolina Landscape in the future.
